Overview
The Workflow Engine lets safety teams design structured processes, such as investigations, inspections, and permit approvals, with a drag-and-drop visual builder. Connect nodes to define the sequence of steps, configure each node's behavior, and publish the workflow for use.
Once designed, the AI executes each workflow step through guided conversations with rich UI widgets. Users interact with forms, checklists, and approval gates while the AI handles data flow, decision routing, and record creation behind the scenes.
8 Node Types
Each node type serves a specific function in the workflow. Combine them to model any safety process.
Start
Entry point that triggers the workflow: incident reported, schedule triggered, or manual start.
UI
Display forms, checklists, and interactive elements for user input during the workflow.
Agent
AI reasoning step where the agent applies skills, analyzes data, and makes decisions.
Object
Create, read, update, or link safety records, including incidents, CAPAs, hazards, and more.
Condition
Branch the workflow based on data. "Severity > High?" routes to different paths.
Transform
Modify data: calculate risk scores, format reports, aggregate findings.
Tool
Execute integrations: send notifications, generate PDFs, update external systems.
End
Complete the workflow, notify stakeholders, and finalize records.
Shared Context
All nodes read from and write to a common data model. Data flows through the workflow. An investigation node can reference the original incident, a CAPA node can link to the investigation findings, and a notification node can include the full context.
